Old wiring made safe, with your home left clean

Full & Partial House Rewires

Old fuses, rubber cables or not enough sockets? Your home may need a rewire. It's the biggest electrical job a house gets, so we plan it with you first. We go room by room and agree where every socket, switch and light goes.

We lay dust sheets, cut neat chases and clean up at the end of every day. Every circuit is tested and certified to BS 7671 before we hand over. You get a clear plan up front, so you always know what's happening next.

Rewires questions, answered

How much does a full rewire cost?

Every house is different, so we price each rewire after we've seen it. You get one fixed price in writing before any work starts.

How long does a rewire take?

About one to two weeks for a typical three-bedroom house. It depends on the size and whether you're living in it. We give you a clear plan before we start.

Can we stay in the house during a rewire?

Usually yes. We work room by room and keep the power on at night where we can. We'll tell you honestly if it would be quicker with the house empty.

How do I know if my house needs a rewire?

Old fuses, rubber or fabric cables and warm sockets are all signs. An electrical safety check (EICR) tells you for sure. We'll never push a rewire you don't need.
